September 7, 2023 The head of Geothermal Ukraine, Taras Popadynets, took anactive part in the energy panel discussion during the conference "Cooperation for the Energy Security of Communities", organized by the Development Agency of OTG Prykarpattia.
The event was held within the framework of the project "Cooperation for the implementation of energy management systems in territorial communities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Transcarpathian regions", which is supported by the ULEAD Program with Europe inIvano-Frankivsk region.
Taras Popadynets gave a presentation on the potential of the region for the development of geothermal energy sources and emphasized that energy management plays an important role in the development, effective use and integration of geothermal energy into the country's overall energy infrastructure.
The conference was attended by representatives of Ivano-Frankivsk,Chernivtsi, Transcarpathian regions, urban, village and rural territorial communities, energy efficiency experts and scientists of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
