Within the framework of the Geo-Cluster established under the GEOSYNproject and coordinated by the NGO “Geothermal Ukraine,” together with the GreetGeo Project and REHEATEAST, an online meeting is being organized to foster cooperation among the countries of the Pannonian Basin — Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
The Pannonian Basin possesses significant yet still underutilized geothermal potential. At the same time, the most promising regions of Western Ukraine for geothermal energy development are also part of the Pannonian Basin, creating additional opportunities for international cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen international partnerships for future EU calls, support the development of geothermal projects, enhance cooperation in technologies and equipment, and establish new regional partnerships.
Ukraine will be represented at the event by Geothermal Ukraine and GeoInnovate Solutions UA.
